RENOVATION SUPPORT - SPLITTING THE WORKSHOP TO ENSURE AN EASY RELOCATION AT THE BELFRY

The Belfry Golf club are currently undergoing a major refurbishment plan across the site, as an approved maintenance supplier we are always on hand ready to support. For a recent project they asked us to relocate a workshop to another part of the site to enable further works to be carried out more efficiently. This involved us splitting the building, disconnecting any electrics, plumbing and drainage. We then had to prepare the news site before transporting the worksop and re-erecting it, whilst also making it functional and watertight before use.

PROJECT WORKS
The project works included the following: Health and safety assessment to evaluate risks and essential works required. Removal of equipment, disconnection of electrical, water and drainage services. Careful splitting of the building into two movable sections. Supply of lifting equipment, transportation and crew to enable move. Preperation of new site, including block work and services. Siting of the building, and reconnecting of electrical, water and drainage services. Additionally the roof was watertight to ensure no leakages after the relocation.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
We delivered a complete solution for the client, allowing them to safely move the workshop within a five day period – thus enabling them to efficiently carry on with other major projects to the site with the workshop close by. The team at the Belfry were absolutely delighted and it equally showed them our capabilities for future projects.
