RETAIL FIT OUT AND REFURBISHMENTS - CREATING A VISIONARY NEW RETAIL SPACE FOR EYE EMPORIUM

Eye Emporium are visionary experts and have been serving the communities of London and Kent for over 42 years. As a business, their ethos is centred around not doing things by half measures, it’s all or nothing. They very much think that everyone deserves the best eye care and brilliant customer service – they’re actively trying to change the industry and reinvent the eye care and in-store experience. As part of their growth and investment strategy they wanted to deliver a new type of store for customers and when the opportunity arose in Wandsworth, they asked us to bring that experience to life with a new shop layout and feel. Working closely with their in-house team we got to work and created something truly unique and special, it’s a project we are immensely proud of, a real collective effort and one that delivered great rewards.

PROJECT WORKS
The team were assigned to completely strip down and prepare the site for all works – rip down all existing partitions and doors, flooring, lighting and furniture to leave a clean shell for future works and final fit out. Where possible the suspended ceiling was to be retained and used. Once completed stage two works could begin these included: Installation of new partition walls to create new kitchen and staff area, consultant rooms and retail space. Rewire of all electrics to add new distribution board for extra circuits to power equipment, point of sale units, LED lighting/celling Grids , CCTV and HVAC systems. Additional new plumbing for kitchen, toilets and HVAC systems. Installation of new doors, ironmongery, flooring along with complete decoration throughout. Final works included erection of all new point of sale units, signage and visual merchandising.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
This was an amazing effort and really showcased the abilities of our skilled operatives and we’re immensely proud of all of them for their dedication and commitment to getting it perfect. The final result looks absolutely stunning and already has gained lots of praise from the client and their customers too. Additionally the project was delivered on time and to budget, which is a great bonus for the client and equally left a good feeling all round for future projects.
