RETAIL FIT OUT AND REFURBISHMENTS - CREATING A MORE FUNCTIONAL SHOWROOM ENVIRONMENT FOR UK FLOORING

UK Flooring Ltd asked us to help them create a more functional showroom space within there existing storage and distribution centre. The current showroom set-up wasn’t working due to the large space and the direct access to the buildings roof. This created heat, sound and lighting issues when customers were coming in to view products, which wasn’t ideal. Our solution was to put in an insulated suspended ceiling across the showroom part of the building. This would ensure that the ambient temperature could regulated, whilst also decreasing the sound levels from the distribution centre behind. It also meant that we could put in a more efficient ceiling lighting system to give more stable light conditions so customers could see the products better.

PROJECT WORKS
The project works included the following. Clearing of the showroom space to enable free access to scissor lifts and ladders. Extending side walls and window areas to enable new ceiling. Installation of new insulated suspended ceiling system, including new lights and emergency lighting. Full redecoration of showroom and reinstallation of wall point of sale units.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
The team did an amazing job on this project and collectively delivered a fantastic new showroom for the team at UK flooring. Essentially the key issues were addressed as they now have controllable heating and cooling within the showroom. Whilst also having a much more efficient lighting system that will showcase products even better. The overall project was delivered on time and to budget, leaving the customer extremely happy.
