GOLF CLUB REFURBISHMENTS - AN ACE ON THE CARD FOR THE BELFRY GREENKEEPERS CHANGING ROOMS

The Belfry Golf Resort is a long standing client and its always a pleasure to be able to send the teams there to support their ongoing reactive and maintenance programmes. The Belfry asked us to rework the Greenkeepers Changing Room Facilities due to it being tired and not fit for use. This is a key area for the grounds staff as it sees a lot of daily traffic, and is also is a central locker room for the teams to store their kit and wet clothing. As part of the refurbishment we were tasked to bring the area up to a compliant standard and also ensure that it was able to be easily cleaned and maintained.

PROJECT WORKS
Complete strip out of existing area including removal of ceiling, plasterboards and lighting. Installation of new plasterboard and white PVC cladding with capped joints, new extraction fans to walls, new ceiling grid with reinstated lighting. Application of new DPM membrane to floor before new latex floor is laid, plus cap and cove non slip flooring. Internal decoration to other areas.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
The team aced the project from start to finish and nothing was left on par. The area is now a clean fresh space for the greenskeepers to change and store their kit. The PVC walls provide a usable and robust solution that enables easy cleaning and longevity, whilst the extraction fans ensure the area is moisture free that allows wet clothes to dry and the room not to smell. The team at The Belfry were absolutely delighted and it ensures we continue our long standing relationship with them on future projects.
